Most chambers sold for the home are soft-shell bags that sit just above normal pressure. This is a rigid chamber that holds 2.0 to 2.4 ATA with a built-in oxygen supply, made and certified to the standards that apply to pressure equipment built for people. It is the same specification we run in the clinic.
Blueprint is probably the most documented self-experiment anyone has run on themselves, and hyperbaric oxygen is part of it. Johnson completed a full 60-session course and has put it near the top of the list of things he considers worth the time, which for someone who measures everything is a reasonably useful signal.
